When&Where app for iPhone and iPad

The Timer

Recording your meter time couldnt be easier. Just slide your finger to the right along the timer scrubber. When it matches the time on your parking meter, let go and it automatically starts counting down. Need to put more money in the meter? No problem! You will get alarms and push notifications before your meter runs out at the times you indicate: 30 minutes, 15 minutes, 5 minutes or whenever. Just rest assured that When&Where will get you back to your meter before it runs and you’ll avoid the dreaded parking fine!


Location

As soon as you launch the app, it fires up the GPS chip in your iPhone and locks in the location of your car. Its that easy! No other effort on your part is needed. Then, when you need to get back to your car, just click the Directions button to get convenient walking instructions that will navigate you right back to your car. Audio Note

Want to describe in detail that difficult place you’ve parked in that gigantic parking garage 10 blocks away from your restaurant? Record an audio note with all the detail and description you need. Then just play it back to help jog your memory of your cars location.


Camera Note

Using the Camera function in When&Where takes recording your parking particulars to a whole new level. Take a still picture of your car and the surrounding area. When&Where automatically stores it for your reference later. If you have an iPhone 3GS, record a video clip to show the entire area around your car, and even narrate it! A camera note makes getting back your car that much less stressful and confusing. A picture is indeed worth a thousand words, and a thousand times more reassuring when it comes to finding your car.


Text Note

Sometimes writing things down just works best. With the Notes function, you can type in a note using the iPhones keyboard. Write down a description of the building your car is in front of. Or describe a key aspect of the street you are on. Its easy with When&Where!
